Our Story
A family's life's work,
rooted in one valley.
In 1947, Elda and Robert Marsh planted their first sixty trees on a hillside above the Sonoma Valley. They chose the site for its morning fog and afternoon warmth — the same conditions, they'd read, that produce the most complex fruit.
Three generations later, the orchard has grown but the approach hasn't changed. We don't rush the fruit. We don't spray what we don't need to. We pick when the moment is right, not when the calendar says so.
Peace Orchard is certified organic. Our land is managed with the intention of leaving it better for whoever tends it next.
"The tree does all the work. We just have to pay attention."— Elda Marsh, Founder, 1947
